After more than three months of sketching and putting up my horizontal storyline grid, I just wondered if I will be able to change the direction to vertical, to add new elements into the ( Instagram) grid

I am sketching on this ongoing experiment, working to tell stories in ways that can use some of the digital narrative options, that are not available in a physical book in the same way.

So far I have reversed the story direction, so instead of running from left to right, as is normal in Europe. I now use the same direction as Instagram and WordPress, where new stories are added to the upper left on the grid.

Below is just one drawing in the grid, that unfolds, not on the grid, but when clicking on it… so the direction and drawings seen here – are co-existing with the different direction on the higher level of the grid.

For a long time now I have only experimented with using the horizontal direction in the grid, but are now starting to experiment also with the vertical direction…
