Walking in short days and under winter stars

Only eight daylight hours made walking under the stars part of the hike as we talked about all that crossed our minds from the new “Don’t look up” film, to memories and philosophy, kids and jobs
Slipping through mud and on ice, as you try to explain life, gives its own feel to one’s words 🙂
Debating, we crossed through a landscape of muted colors, much of the time, as we hiked from Roskilde fjord to the Baltic sea .
Walking in cold rain, low winter sun and snow, we saw glimpses of kingfisher, waterfalls, Viking graves, frosty trees… even a trail.
