People gather along the path, lining up, looking out on the small island, on the first day of 2022.
Out across the water a huge siluette sits in the top of one of the trees.
Some people filming with phones, others with large telescope lenses.
More and more arrives, all waiting for the huge bird to take off. “It is a white-tailed eagle” an old man says, not moving his eyes from the bird.
