Sitting in history

All around me are historical buildings and people living in them too, it is a mixture of tourist motives and clothes hanging to dry

Painting watercolors in Copenhagen

Watercolor and text by Frits Ahlefeldt

I have a castle to the left and the National museum of art to the right, and in the middle are kids playing, people getting drunk and mothers trying to make their toddlers sleep, so they can get a break.

The houses are old, some run down, some cheap and some forgotten it seems.

I pick the motive in the middle, like it, it reminds me of opening the drawer, where my granddad kept all the things he didn’t know where to put.
