Tiny fisherman’s house

Not many details, just what is needed when off the boat, the small house looks like it can handle a lot of wind. I take out my brushes, watercolor and paper

Little red house in Snogebaek, Bornholm

Watercolor and text by Frits Ahlefeldt

People pass by here a lot, but in the old days I imagine it as a more quiet place, where hours could be spent, without anybody to nod to. It is a small fishing village, on a small island, far out in the Baltic Sea.

Depending on the direction of the wind, it would take the fishermen close to Russia, Sweden, Poland or Germany, even Denmark.
