The harbor is far out on the end of a long bridge. In the village, that is not much more than a line of houses along the road, some are formed mainly by their huge traditional fish smoking chimneys
Houses in Snogebaek on Bornholm

Most of the houses are now restaurants, bars and also a souvenir place. The fishermen are mostly there in the morning, before the tourists arrive to hang out in the place. They look over at me, I nod, they nod, and then go back to what they were doing. So many come here to paint, and hike through the village, I am easily placed as just another tourist.
