I heard the voice so many times – Early in the morning, telling us aboard the ferry, that soon we will reach our destination… It was time to get up from the floor underneath the tables, pack down my sleeping pad and bag. And put my backpack on yet again… I even learned that if ordering cereal, I could fill the bowl to the brink, and get a cheap full meal that could last me through the first day of hiking 10 hours along an empty coast.
