Cityzen science architecture

Co creation is also about place-making and architecture, about creating places where people can walk, meet, discuss and innovate together

The commons, architecture and Citizen Science

Text and drawing by Frits Ahlefeldt

Places are important, they can either bridge our understandings or wall them in and keep them apart. How we design, think and build places are paramount for what kind of society we can realize

Co-creation, volunteer work and citizen science is not only about people and science, it is also about places. Places like libraries, open universities, museums, squares, trails and theaters. All the places people can meet, walk together, and think up new ideas
