Space along the trails might be different
Text and drawing by Frits Ahlefeldt, Hiking.org
When you are out hiking a sudden rain shower can turn the space under a tree into a shelter, where hikers run for cover from different directions. Sitting together, getting a break not planned, but one nature decided to give you just there, creating space out of rain and a tree
Along the trails space can appear out of nowhere by an multitude of things not always present in build architecture. Things like wind, changing light, water, filtered light, mist covering the landscapes, darkness turning rocks into trolls and wood into campfires. All working together creating centers of warmth and storytelling between strangers
