Study of Vultures

In storytelling the vultures have always been considered important in relation to the passage between life and death. And in many stories the vultures often appear exactly at the time where the main character in the story is balancing between life and death.

Here’s a fast sketch in ink and watercolor of these large birds, still living, but often endangered from pollution, poisoning and loss of habitat many places around the world
