Drawing up ideas and concepts
Most of the time I show the finished illustrations here, but for a change here are a couple of concept-drawings I made, when working to figure out how a robot on wheels might look like

I often make my concept drawings with pencils and color them up with watercolor. It is the classic, old school way to make concepts, try out ideas and visualize different angels and prototypes. I mostly use it to try out new ideas and develop expressions and characters, before I go on to do the final illustrations
