Logbook walking Coast Trail Denmark

#1Day, Walk From Copenhagen Main Square to a film about Camino de Santiago

People on the street looked different, wonder if this is how people getting married feel?  Excited and ready feeling every step, I was not heading for the altar but stumbling out on to a research walk, the longest I’ve planned so far, taking my first steps of a around 2000km. (1200 Miles) hike around Denmark (in sections)  along the coast

I was heading out today, because of a film I had bought a ticket to… 25km. (15 miles) away, it was a film following 6 people on the Camino de Santiago (link to the trailer)  why they walked and how their journey progressed.

Part of my research for a Danish Coast trail is about better understanding how trails like the Camino De Santiago and  the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) and other long distance walking endeavors can alter the way people feel and think, no matter if you are walking in Spain or along the Pacific Ocean or just walking out of you own door and heading on along the sea or onto the nearest trail, as I did today…

Walking is such a strange thing that have fascinated me for a very long time, in many ways, and now I was back out walking, with my pack feeling good.

Easy first day, I am on my way 🙂

Did two versions of the drawings, experimenting between watercolors and Ink&watercolor: here are the ink and watercolor ones:
