Connecting the city with nature

Very often the hiking trails ends at the city border, instead of connecting the central square to the forests, sea, mountains or other green areas just outside the city. 

There is a great potential in both thrive, sustainability and ecology if we start to connect the green corridors, that often runs just outside the urban landscape, with arrows inside the city that can help people find the trails.

Here is a concept-sketch of one way of making the trails known inside the villages, towns and cities:
